The epic story of the Jack Daniels band dates back to 2001 when Andy convinced John to take up the bass guitar and they started jamming to the likes of Silverchair and others. The two met Dan Safayeni in high school and they began to play music together. John and Andy recalled their friend from middle school, Eric Arthrell, who they remembered was a drummer. The four instantly formed friendships and decided to regularly jam together. The Jack Daniels band that we all have come to know and love/hate wasnt complete until Dan suggested that Jack Bodkin, a huge pianist he knew from elementary school, join. This lineup was then known as Twice Shy, but after a year of playing their local highschool scene (and by scene I mean assemblies), friction formed and the boys took a break.

     Realizing their stupidity, they reformed almost a year later better than ever. Every member had improved on their respective instrument and began bringing the rock to the students of Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate once again. The Jack Daniels band can be described anywhere from the Dave Matthews band to NWA to Miles Davis.

Honestly, if Paul MacCartney, John Lennon, Dave Matthews, Daniel Johns, Sasquatch from Co&Ca, all 3 members of Guster, Brian Wilson, Chris Carababababab and BB King all had a giant orgy...we would be the offspring - Andy Schichter.
